The Johnsons Aggregates plant located in Derbyshire was founded in 1999. It produces recycled quarry aggregates for the construction industry and provides for site clearance, contract crushing and disposal of contaminated materials.

Through its UK subsidiary, WAM Engineering, in July 2018 WAMGROUP provided the plant with an RVC Drop-through Rotary Valve along with a highly efficient Twin Shaft Paddle Dust Mixer, the MESC-UM.

The 80 °C-hot aggregate fly-ash is flood-fed from a silo into the RVC Rotary Valve, which is equipped with oblique V-shaped cross section compartments. The Rotary Valve feeds the fly-ash into the MESC-UM Conditioner that discharges the material dust-free onto a stock pile.
